Information will be added and updated as we receive it.
As a result of the UK’s meeting with the EU, it has been granted a further 6 month extension to provide a deal. This means the UK must agree to a Withdrawal Agreement by October 31st 2019, if no agreement is made, the UK will leave with a ‘no deal’ exit.
In preparation for the possibility of a ‘no deal’ exit, we have prepared as much information as possible in regards to the impact on LIFE Church College applications.
For those applying for the September 2019, Brexit will have no impact on your applications as we will be in a Transitional Period, allowing the UK to adjust to its exit. As far as we have been told, you will be able to work and live like a UK national within this transitional period. This obviously only applies to current EU countries.
This does mean that for those applying for a 2020 intake, it may have an impact on your application.
If you are already a UK Citizen, your application to LIFE Church College will not be impacted by Brexit. You are able to apply as normal.
EU National Living Within the UK
If you are an EU Citizen currently living in the UK, you will still be able to apply for LIFE Church College.
You will also need to apply for either Settled or Pre-Settled Status within the UK.
If you’re an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen, you and your family will be able to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021. If your application is successful, you’ll get either settled or pre-settled status.
You may be able to stay in the UK without applying – for example, if you’re an Irish citizen or have indefinite leave to remain
