The Evening  College has been developed for those who are looking to delve further into the Bible, Theology & Personal Leadership.

The course runs on a Tuesday evening and is split into 3 terms. You can choose whether to complete one term or all three, and if you complete all three within 2 years, you will graduate LIFE Church Evening College.

Our teachers will take you deeper into the Old & New Testaments, Jesus’ leadership & your personal development over the three terms.

Time: 7.15pm – 9.15pm

7:15pm – 7:30pm – Worship
7:30pm – 8:15pm – Lesson 1
8:15pm – 8:30pm – Break
8:30pm – 9:15pm – Lesson 2

There are 3 terms all of which have 2 modules in. Below is a break down of each term:

Term 2 (Apr – June)
Module 3: New Testament Studies Pt 1
Module 4: Personal Leadership

  • Managing your Time

Term 3 (Sept – Dec)
Module 5: New Testament Studies Pt 2
Module 6: Introduction to Theology

  • Nature & Function of Trinity
  • Trinity in Scripture
  • Social Trinity
  • Calvinism & Arminianism
  • Eschatology
  • Covenant

The evening course is for anyone who wants to develop their knowledge of the Bible & theology. The minimum age is 17; there is no upper age limit for this course.

No, there will be no assignments to complete throughout the course. You will have recommending reading (see the next FAQ)

There are no specific books you need to read in order to complete the course, however there will be some reading recommended to help you go deeper into specific topics.

No, the evening course has been specifically designed to fit within the 2hrs on a Tuesday evening.

Yes, the course is designed for people of all learning abilities to be able to gather and learn. The only requirement is that you are willing and passionate about learning more about the Bible and biblical leadership.

Graduation is only given to those who complete all three terms within 2 years. We ask that students of the Evening College try complete every session but we understand that sometimes other circumstances do not enable this. If you require an absence you will need to make the course tutor aware of foreseen absences before the term starts. Any unforeseen absences (sickness etc) the course tutor can be informed using the absence system (once enrolled all students are shown how to use this system).

At this current time the accreditation is not given for the Evening College. We do however have an accredited option on the full time course – more information can be found here

Yes! We are more than happy for people from other churches to be a part of the Evening College. The only commitment would be to be available during term time on Tuesday evenings. There are no other commitments outside of this.

We simply ask for everyone to register and pay upfront, you can do that by clicking here. We do not require references/application forms to be filled out just the registration form. Once this is completed you are booked onto the course and will receive further instructions regarding start dates etc.
