LIFE Reach

Where the need is the greatest, the church is needed the most.

When people go through difficult times, often the last place they look for help is the local church. It is our intention to see that change in our generation.

In every city there are vast amounts of people struggling with brokenness, poverty, addictions, homelessness, sickness and all kinds of other social problems, we aim to be a contributing agent for change in our city.

As Life Church we partner with a number of incredible organisations to spread the love of Jesus and meet the practical needs of people globally and locally.

We value each life and want to support them in any way we can.

Life Reach’s aim is to do just that, Reach a city and beyond.

Each individual matters – their lives and needs are different and varied and as LIFE Reach we aim to journey with support, and signpost people to get the help they need. Our desire is to increase the reach and extend the love of Jesus to many people by simply doing what Jesus asked.

‘For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:35

There are so many incredible organisations who are doing significant things to support and make a difference in the lives of the most in need within our city. We have the privilege of partnering with them to support their vision and mission.

We have multiple opportunities for you as our church family to get connected and be involved – you can look at the options below or email us at hello@lifechurchhome.com for more information.

Bradford Fostering

Bradford Fostering, part of Bradford Council, provide part time and full time foster placements to children and young people in care. Currently there are over 1500 children and young people in care throughout the district with many requiring foster placements. Bradford Fostering is a 100% not for profit fostering service solely based on meeting the needs of children looked after and their carers. Bradford Fostering recruit, assess and train people to become paid part time or full time carers. Once approved they are matched with children in care. Carers receive their own Fostering Social Worker to offer one to one support, paid a fee and allowance, offered training, offered carer support groups and membership of the local independent foster carer association. There is a shortage of foster carers across Bradford, indeed the whole country and we are asking people and families to rule themselves in – not out.
